Evans Cycles RIDE IT: London Road Sportive

Back for its fourth year, we are returning to the stunning Osterley Park.

Surrounded by gardens, park and farmland, Osterley is one of the last surviving country estates in London. Now a National Trust property, with excellent transport links to London and elsewhere, we think it’ll serve as a fantastic venue for a sportive.

The route is somewhat deceiving; once we’ve left the estate we’re soon out into the countryside and leaving the city behind.

This is the first fixture on the RIDE IT calendar so will be a great opportunity to work off any festive indulgence and get the New Year off to a flying start! The Estate is a short hop from central London by tube but a world apart.

Cannondale SuperSix Evo Hi Mod / 54cm Carbon Frameset

I’m selling my much loved and well cared for Supersix Evo frameset. Size 54cm, in superb condition.

Purchased at the beginning of 2016 and only used for spring/summer riding. Never raced, never crashed. It’s such a great ride - exceptional to sprint and easy to climb on. Plus in my opinion, looks superb in this stealthy matt black colour way with green accents.

The reviews of this bike are ridiculous, and as anyone seriously considering this will likely be aware, many of the top grand tour teams using this as their go-to bike of choice.

There are a couple of very tiny knicks here and there that I've tried to show in the photos. Nothing other than slight cosmetic marks to the lacquer and absolutely nothing that affects the performance. 

Sale is for the Frameset only. Fully built bike image for illustrative purposes only. Fizik stem pictured not included in the sale, but I do have the seat clamp (not shown) - I forgot to put this back on before I took the photos.

It occurs to me that with small changes the cycle can be adapted to be used for Eroica rides, for little cost.

Pretty much in as new condition apart from a chip on the seat tube where some youth chose to throw a stone at me (!) Never crashed. I have been mostly training on the turbo or doing Time Trials on a P3 for the last seven years.

You're probably aware that these Madone frames are very stiff an ideal for climbing.

6 month old frame. Alloy. Double check condor website for weight. Used as a training bike so never raced. Slight cosmetic scratches, nothing too bad. Never crashed. Comes with: Mavic ksyrium haute route ltd edition climbing wheels with carbon hubs and alloy rims. Fitted with four seasons 25mm. Wheels were £1000 and are 14 months old. Have been checked by Rapha mechanic in perfect condition though the anodising is starting to fade on the rear wheel rim. 105 groupset with Ultegra crank. All in perfect working order with slight cosmetic marks as expected from regular use. Crank is 50/34 Condor headset Fizik Antares saddle Fizik cyrano alloy stem and bars, 40 on a 120 stem Condor carbon seatpost Look Keo pedals Alloy bottle cages

I'm selling a Canyon Roadlite Al 6.0 in the L or 58cm size. Bought in 2014 it has been well looked after and stored indoors. 

This is a fast nimble and comfortable bike, really fun to ride. It would be perfect for fast commuting or a great winter or summer bike for long country rides. It is fully UCI race legal so it would also be a great competition bike. 

It features a complete Shimano 105 groupset, Shimano 105 brakes & Shimano SPD-SL pedals. Carbon Fibre forks and seatpost and a comfy 'Fabric/Charge Scoop' saddle. The wheels are Mavic Aksium and the tyres are Continental GP4000s 25mm, the rear tyre is brand new. According to the manufacturers, the bike weighs around 8kg. 

The bike is in great condition and has been recently serviced, it has one small dent on the top tube where it fell over outside a cafe. It has never been in a crash. 

The bike can be collected from hackney, or I can deliver it anywhere around London central/north London. Unfortunately I can't post it but if you wanted to arrange a courier then I'm sure we could work it out.

Excellent condition rims and hubs, very little wear, includes Vittoria corsa evo CX tyres and wheel bags. 

Had for 2-3 years and only used for triathlon racing and the occasional training ride. Great wheels for middle distance tri, accelerate quicky and keep their speed, stable when windy and stiff when out of the saddle. Overall some of the best wheels on the market.
