I am selling off my 2014 Dolan l’Étape. Full specs below, but it has a Camagnolo Veloce (50/37, 11-28T) groupset, except the sprocket (Miche) and chain (SRAM). Furthermore, it has a Miche RX5 wheelset. I’ve never minded the wheels, but this would be my first upgrade if I were to keep the bike. I put Vredestein (my personal fave) 23mm tyres on. I'm posting this to road.cc first because I'd find it cruel to just sell it to the first random Gumtree person.

History

I’ve ridden it for 2,765 km (1,718 miles, that’s longer than two football fields) around Norfolk, where I lived when I bought it. Mostly in nice weather too, at least never between October and March, which is quite pathetic when you think about it and in direct violation of rules #5 and #9. I always gave it a clean after every ride and the bike has always lived inside. All in all, she looks and feels younger than she is and I’m 100% certain that she just needs some air and a drop of lube and she’ll be good to go. And that’s basically the main reason why I’m selling. Yep, she deserves someone who takes her out rather than just hanging on a wall in a small suburban-London flat. Also, besides the extra long seat post and 120mm stem it has always felt a bit small for me (I’m 6’3”).

The important bit

I live in Twickenham. Local pick-up only. Viewing and collection are only possible between Saturday 16th June and Wednesday the 20th. Any questions: email is probably fastest because I’ll be at a conference where WiFi is available but where being on the phone would be rude. But please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

P.s. I also have a Navad GPS with navigation available. Pretty much a Garmin rip-off. Working very well, just not great with a Mac. Anyway, accepting offers for it.

Specialized S-works Roubaix SL4, 56cm frame -  fitted with Shimano 6870 Ultegra Di2 shifting and Mavic cosmic exalith wheels. Frame is all black with raw carbon finish. 

Previous owner (from new) put about 4000 miles on her. The frame is in superb condition, with only a few minor scuffs from general use which I have tried to capture in the photos. 

Since ownership I have fitted Ultegra Di2 and Dura Ace brakes. The chainset is a Quarq elsa power metre (needs new battery). All included in the sale. I have put a grand total of 0 miles on this bike since purchase, the frame is just too big for me (I’m 5ft 9” for reference), and having bought it for a couple of Dura Ace spares I needed, I then decided to complete a few different projects. 

Zipp aero bars and 110mm enve stem. S-works bottle cage included. The bike also has a ceramic speed bottom bracket bearing. I have also fitted Mavic cosmic carbon SLE exalith 50mm carbon wheels. 

The Di2 has been updated, including cool features such as the front mech automatically adjusting when you change up and down the cassette. 

The steerer is uncut, hence the lump of spacers at the front. There are a few scuff marks on power metre crank arms, primarily on the drive side as pictured.

Details 
I am located in South Wimbledon for another week (until the 10th August), then I will be out in the sticks in Hampton Court (Molesey to be precise) where the bike can be viewed. Alternatively I could meet up the road in Walton on Thames. I could do day viewings with notice, otherwise morning or evenings are best. 

I have no idea what to price this at, so starting at £2,400 o.n.o. and see what happens, I don’t think that is far from the mark given the spec of this bike though!

For sale is a Shimano Ultegra 6800 52-36 MB 170mm chainset. Hardly a mark on this is pictured, only selling due to a Dura Ace upgrade. Removed from a Canyon Aeroad (2016) with less than 800 miles on. 

Comes with preloader. In totally mint condition as you can see in the photos.
